COMMITMENTS

1. Use Social Media With Intention
The average person now spends over six hours a day on their phone, and most of that time is on social media. We open our phones to reply to a message, and 40 minutes later we’re still scrolling — eyes glazed, thumb twitching, not even sure why we picked it up in the first place. We’re seeing more content than ever, but somehow knowing less about the people who actually matter to us.
This app was built as an alternative, one that helps you feel even more connected without spending time looking at a screen.
You don’t need to keep checking it.
You record your Quip, then step away.
Later, you’ll receive your personalised podcast, made up of your friends’ Quips for you to listen while doing the things that already fill your day (washing dishes, cooking, driving, running).
2. Embrace New Stories
A full life is a collection of stories, the kind that make you feel alive and are worth telling. But those stories don’t just appear if you don’t make space for them…
This app invites you to do exactly that, in the simplest of ways. Each week, you’re encouraged to share something from your life. Over time, that small habit becomes a lens through which you begin to seek more from your days. It encourages you to live a little more boldly.
To step outside the routine.
To say yes more often.
To seek a little discomfort — because that’s often where the best stories begin.
And yes, it’s amazing to book a trip to Bali, move to a new city, or do something that completely shifts your world. But meaningful stories also live in the everyday: in starting that book, finally taking a stand-up comedy course, noticing the person on the bus, or saying what you really think at dinner!
Life gets louder when you show up for it.

3. Become Closer to Friends
We’ve all had that moment sitting with a close friend and realising we have no idea what’s really going on in their life. Somewhere between group chats, birthday reminders, and heart-reacts, we started losing track of the people we care about.
We say we’ll catch up soon, but life gets in the way.
Weeks pass.
Then months.
Suddenly, we don’t know how our friend’s new job is going — but we do know which influencer just got a puppy. How did that happen?!
Friendships don’t stay strong by accident, and Quip makes it easier to stay present, even when life is full. It’s a light and fun way to hear how the interview went, how the gig turned out, or how the holiday was. And when you meet in person, the conversation can actually go deep.
